Just to start things that I am completely ignorant to build yourself / so please bear with me :-) I have recently moved into a building and install a blind in the kitchen. I've heard it is a steel beam above the window, and this would lead to problems, a blind (if top fixing fit). My question is, firstly, it is possible to drill the RSJ to fit a blind, and if so, there is a DIY job or you need specialists with special equipment by steel drill program?
